Do you want to dance, workout, sweat, and sweat some more? The simple choreography you will learn in this class is inspired by the big, energetic movement of African dance. You will work out your entire body with the big, flamboyant movement: arms, shoulders, back, abs, glutes, quads, and calves! It is possible to have fun while doing intense cardio, and this is the way to do it! No dance experience required; all levels welcome.

Ballerobica

This total body workout combines the fundamentals of classical ballet with cardio and strength training. The ballet barre is used for support in both static and dynamic movement, which leads to long, lean, sculpted muscles. This hybrid workout burns fat and produces perky bums, toned arms, lean thighs, and flat tummies! No dance experience required; all levels welcome.

BFF Yoga for Dancers

This all levels vinyasa based yoga class is the perfect complement to your other BFF workouts. You will move through postures while focusing on your breath to create a moving meditation. For those newer to yoga, you will learn foundational postures and for those with a strong practice, you will be given opportunities to learn more advances poses and options for arm balances. No dance experience required; all levels welcome.

FAQ/Policies

Reservations

Class reservations can be made up to 14 days prior to the scheduled class, and they close 15 minutes prior to the start of the session. You may reserve your spot online or through the Mindbody app, in person, or by calling the studio; electronic methods are preferred. While you can attend class without making a reservation, we strongly encourage you to notify us of your intent to attend class in advance to avoid class cancellations.

New Clients

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class to allow adequate time for introduction to the studio, new client paperwork, and instructor meet and greet.

Cancellation

You may cancel up to 60 minutes prior to the start of class. If you fail to cancel with adequate notification, you may be charged a drop-in fee of $17. Clients on Unlimited Membership plans may have 1 day deducted from their billing cycle. We request adherence to this policy out of courtesy to our instructors and to potential waitlist clients.

Late Arrival

We prohibit new clients from entering a class late. Established clients may enter an active class up to, but no more than, 10 minutes late. The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety of our clients.

Children

Studio BFF is an ADULT ONLY studio. You must be 18 years of age to attend classes except for advertised promotional events that specify otherwise (e.g. Mother’s Day). For the safety of your children and our clients, children may not be left unattended at the studio. Please do not schedule yourself for any classes on days when you are unable to secure child care.

Mat Rental

We offer mat rentals for all clients. Current autopay members can rent a mat at no charge; all others will be charged a $3 fee. Fee includes sterilization of the mat by the studio.

Communication

Clients are responsible for communicating any changes in health, long-term or short-term physical limitations, as well as any other pertinent information that may affect full participation in class or lead to more serious injury.
We empower our clients to share any comments or feedback that will enable us to enhance our studio. Speak to a front desk attendant, instructor, call us, or email info@studiobff.com.

Enviroment

Studio BFF is a smoke, alcohol, and drug free environment. If you have concerns related to inappropriate activities, please see a member of the management team.

Client Conduct

Studio BFF is proud to be a respectful and mindful place to interact with friendly people while gaining optimal fitness. We ask that you help us contribute to a positive environment. After all, you are our BFF’s!
